Q. Can Zipcca’s vacuum sealer food saver be used on all type of ziplock bag?
A. Can be used on most of the ziplock bag, but the material, finish and density of ziplock bag may influence the vacuum time. Recommend to use vacuum level ziplock bag to keep the vacuumed condition longer.

To prevent leaking air, please use smooth ziplock bag without wrinkle.
Use clip to seal bag tightly. (Please use ziplock bag under width of the clip)

Thickness: over 0.06m, Width: under 19.5cm (Frozen bag, sous vide vacuum ziplock bag, etc. )

Q. How long will sous vide vacuum condition last? How long will freshness extend?
A. Under proper usage, vacuum could hold:
● Normal frozen bag: 1-2 weeks(Standard), Vacuum ziplock bag: one month- (Standard)
● Still depends on the conditions of ziplock bag’s quality, density, finish and gas amount released from the food itself. Freshness could be extended 3-5 times variedly. Frozen storage food ziplock bag could extend freshness one year or longer.

Q. After pumping, the reason of immediate air leak from food ziplock bag?

A. Check if any particles or powder are stuck inside the vacuum sealer food saver. Make sure the vacuum sealer food saver valve is clean.
●Check if there is any wrinkle on the surface between the ziplock bag and the vacuum sealer food saver    If so, take the vacuum sealer food saver out and pull the ziplock bag  bag flat, then re-set the vacuum sealer food saver and click firmly.
●Check if clip fastens the sous vide ziplock bag firmly.
●Maybe the vacuum sealer food saver’s hole is closed, take out the vacuum sealer food saver and pump 2-3 times to open it.

Q. Couldn’t pump out the air from food ziplock bag even if keep pumping.

A.
● Check if there is any wrinkle on the surface between food ziplock bag and vacuum sealer food saver. If so, take the vacuum sealer food saver out and pull the food ziplock bag flat, then re-set the vacuum sealer food saver and click firmly.
● Check if there is any damage on the food ziplock bag
If there is any split, hole or wrinkles etc. on the ziplock bag, please use a new one.
● Check if the ziplock bag sticks together.
If not, move the food close to the vacuum sealer food saver, and pump again.
(distance between food and vacuum sealer food saver should be <2cm)
